NCJW and Filson Historical Society Collections Request

NCJW, Louisville Section is proudly partnering with the Filson Historical Society to preserve our Section’s 125 year-long history!

In 2022, we will donate our archival collection of records and photographs to the Filson for cataloging, preservation, and access. At the Filson, they will join other important collections documenting local Jewish, women’s, and service organizations and provide an incredible learning resource for the present and the future.

If you have material in your care that documents the history of NCJW, Louisville section, we need your help. By donating this material to the Section, you can help ensure our historical record is as rich and complete as possible. In particular we seek:

  • Records, documents, meeting minutes, bulletins, correspondence, and photographs especially pertaining to the earliest decades of the Section.
  • Unique items created by and for the Section including skits, speeches, scripts, uniforms, aprons, needlework etc.
