Honoring the Yahrtzeit of Roe
Abortion access is a Jewish value, plain and simple.
June 23, 2023 marks the 1-year anniversary of the end of Roe v. Wade, which offered federal protections for abortion and bodily autonomy and integrity. NCJW is hosting a virtual yahrtzeit candle lighting on June 23 at 1pm EST in recognition of this date and the reminder that we must continue to proactively advocate for reproductive healthcare, justice, rights – and freedoms.
