Volunteers at Nearly New Shop

To each of you that offered your time and service over the past 70 years we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU!

The Nearly New Shop had been NCJW, Louisville Section’s main source of fundraising for 70 years, and our resale store needed volunteer support to keep up with the huge amount of merchandise donated from the community daily. And, since the Shop was so large, volunteers are socially distanced and could be working independently in open spaces and/or confined spaces away from customers.

We welcomed volunteers aged 13 and older. Volunteers were needed a few hours each week to a few hours a month to help with:

• Sorting and hanging donated items
• Pricing and tagging items
• Sales floor upkeep and merchandising
• Customer service and sales associate assistance

Store vouchers and service hours:

As a “Thank You” for their time and help, we were happy to provide store merchandise vouchers and/or community service hours!
