NCJW Letter Entered into Senate Record

On Wednesday, Oct. 14th, 2020, Senator Blumenthal (D. CT) entered a letter from NCJW into the Senate record during confirmation hearings for Judge Amy Coney Barrett. The letter itself was a plea that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s dying wish for her Supreme Court seat to remain unfilled until every vote had been counted post-election, would be honored. 86 Jewish organizations signed onto the letter. We will continue to fight for an independent judiciary.
