Applications for the NCJW, Louisville Section Scholarship Fund are being accepted through March 12, 2021.

In 1921, Louisville Section established a student loan fund to help defray college expenses of students who are of Jewish faith.  The loan, over the course of nearly ten decades has helped hundred of deserving Louisville students pursue their academic goals.  In 2017, the loan was converted into the NCJW Scholarship Fund to provide scholarship assistance in the form of grants to these scholars.

As one of our core values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for students and using progressive ideals to promote education, leadership, and opportunities in both school and community life.  As we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Louisville Section, we are extremely proud of the 99 years we have financially invested in our Jewish students and the committed investment to the local Jewish community.

Eligible students for the NCJW Scholarship Fund must be of Jewish faith, reside in Kentucky, have completed at least one semester of college or university, have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, and demonstrate financial need.

The application is available on the Community Foundation of Louisville website.
