Gilda’s Camp Prep

Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana has remained closed throughout the pandemic and is slowly getting the damage from flooding and sewer backup cleaned up and repaired. They hope to have the clubhouse reopening in August to welcome back guests and the community.

Despite in-person programming, they have done well virtually this year, even adding members from other states and one from Belgium! However, they have decided to keep this year’s NCJW/Gilda’s Camp virtual since the clubhouse is not yet ready. The theme this year is Jungle Jam with fun rainforest/jungle theme daily crafts, virtual games, and afternoon interactive online experiences. Our volunteers are signed up to fill the goodie bags for the camp on July 15th, but Gilda’s can still use additional volunteers to distribute the bags on Saturday, July 17th.
