Have a Plan to Vote
There are three ways for Kentucky voters to cast their ballot for the November 3rd election. Request an absentee ballot/mail in ballot. Vote in-person (for any reason) starting October 13th – November 2nd. Or vote in-person on Election Day (location sites TBD).
Register and Confirm
The deadline to register to vote is October 5th! Go to ncjwvotes.turbovote.org to register. If you have already registered to vote, confirm your information is correct to ensure your vote is accounted for.
Will you be 18 before Nov. 3rd?
If you’ll be 18 years old before or on November 3rd you can vote! Just make sure you go to ncjwvotes.turbovote.org to register by October 5th!
Have a Photo ID to Vote
The Voter ID law (Senate Bill 2) went into effect on July 15th, so be prepared to have a valid photo ID ready for in person voting. Kentuckians who were unable to get a driver’s licenses or photo ID due to the pandemic because their clerk’s office was closed, or because they were afraid of exposing themselves to COVID-19, can sign a document explaining this concern and cast their ballot.

Voting and Judaism
Tzedek tzedek tirdof, or justice, justice shall you pursue — this is the guiding imperative of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW). Our tradition teaches that we have an obligation to secure access to health care, welcome immigrants, care for those in poverty, ensure fair wages, and much more. We can impact the way the United States lives out these principles by voting.
