In 1921, Louisville Section established a student loan fund to help defray college expenses of students who are of Jewish faith. The loan, over the course of nearly ten decades has helped hundred of deserving Louisville students pursue their academic goals. In 2017, the loan was converted into the NCJW Scholarship Fund to provide scholarship assistance in the form of grants to these scholars.

As we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Louisville Section, we are extremely proud of the 99 years we have financially invested in our Jewish students and the committed investment to the local Jewish community.
